8 SimCity BuildIt : Tips
1. Use your Sim Cash wisely

Don't use them to speed things up, its an utter waste of the precious resource.

Use them to increase your commercial buildings make item spots, I recommend to make sure that each of your shops have at least 3 slots.

If you are desperate you can also use your Sim Cash for buying items that wl help you to increase city storage and expand your city

Just don't waste them on factory time speed-ups
2. Save all the items you get from popping thought bubbles up

Keep on collecting them until you unlock the city storage.

Upgrade the city storage to store upto 100 items

Don't bother to upgrade the city storage any further for a long time
-
You will not fill up the storage for a long time

Sell any other items which helps to upgrade the city storage for max price at the trade depot

3. Build a few houses concentrated on a single area first.

Keep on upgrading them till you max them out.

This will give you lots of cash to invest

Now build fire stations, health centers etc... in a way that they cover all the houses you built, which should be easy since you concentrated them on a single area.

This helps you easily manage the buildings
4. Visit the Global Trade HQ frequently

Most of the time you will find the materials you need, that too at a good price.

I buy all the vegetables my city need from there :)

Just be sure to hurry or the item will be sold
5. Never build the small fire station/police station or health clinic

These thing are not at all value for money

They cover a very small area and you will end up spending lots of cash and buying lots of them if you decide to use them

If your short on cash, just be patient and save enough to buy their medium sized/large sized versions

Place them strategically so that they cover the most amount of homes
6. Place shops, services buildings and specialization buildings inside the dirty radius of your factories

This helps to create a divider between residential and industrial areas

Also this helps to manage space and helps you to place less homes near those dirty areas
-
This boosts happiness and increases tax rates.
7. Always make sure that your shops and factories are working

Never leave them idle

Make them craft items which take a less time to craft while you are playing and make them craft items which take longer to craft while your not playing the game

Make sure that you always have materials in your hands
8. Be social and get a lot of neighbours

Join one of the SimCity groups or circles in G+ or Facebook

This will allow you to trade more and strike it rich

You will get the materials you need faster and as an added bonus if you make a lot of friends you can get free Sim Cash from the mayor's mansion

It's a win-win situation for both you and them
