How to make your Galaxy S Duos awesome!

Hello guys, today I will show you how to make the s-duos awesome, as you know this is a pretty old device and is still stuck in ICS. We will update it to KitKat and mak it look like LolliPop as much as possible. For this you will need to root your phone and install a LP themed KK custom ROM (mightyboy) on our device. Anyway hurry up and follow the steps if you want to make your old S Duos awesome and beautiful.

Steps:-

1. Root your phone

     2.  Install TWRP

•  Refer  http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2726125

     3.   Install Mighty Boy ROM 4.0           

• Go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/s7562/development/custom-mightyboy-rom-v1-0-1-t2820336.
• Download MightyBoy ROM,Gapps and WiFix zips.
• Boot into TWRP.
• Connect your phone to pc via USB.
• Select mount option from TWRP menu.
• Select option Mount USB.
• Now your phone storage will appear in your PC as a removable media.
• Empty it(delete everything in there except the TWRP and SYSTEM VOLUME folder)
• Now move the zip files you downloaded to the media.
• Press unmount USB Storage from TWRP menu.
• Wipe cache and dalvik cache from wipe menu, advanced wipe in TWRP menu.
• Perform a factory reset from TWRP menu.       
• Go back to TWRP main menu.
• Select install and install the Mightyboy zip, Gapps zip and wifi fix zip in the given order one by one.
• Reboot.
• Set up you device like you want.
• If you have any sim problem download Hungarian baseband zip from http://forum.xda-developers.com/s7562/development/custom-mightyboy-rom-v1-0-1-t2820336 and flash it via TWRP.
• Enjoy.

     4. Touch Ups (Optional, Recommended for LP style and maximum performance)

• Allow your device to update all the necessary apps
• Open ES File explorer, enable root browser, go to /system/ and edit the build prop and change the line ro.sf.lcd_density=240 to ro.sf.lcd_density=200 (the s duos looks best in 200dpi)
• Download the latest nova launcher apk and place it in /system/priv-app/  using es file explorer.
• Click on its properties and change the permissions to rw-r-r.
• Rename it to com.teslacoilsw.launcher.apk (Replace the old Nova launcher apk in priv-app)
• Reboot.
• Click on nova settings and edit your phones appearance it your liking, personally I made by duos look as much as possible like lollipop
• For lollipop like icons change icon theme to lollipop in nova settings.
• Install xposed framework and flat style coloured bars, flat style keyboard modules. (for LP style material keyboard and status bar)

      5. Optional Hacks and Tips

• Edit your build.prop and change your device id to bypass play store app incompatible message and download a lot of apps.
